In 2009, he moved to the fashion capital of Paris to expand his expertise in the fashion industry, specializing in styling and pattern-making through studies at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. His separate interests include haute couture, embroidery, as well as French crafts such as straw harnessing, among others.

Special projects have included collaborations with Pierre Bergé's Foundation for Conservation and Yves Saint Laurent on African tribal headdresses, and with Dior Heritage for the exhibition "Dior, un couturier de rêve" at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre, Paris. He collaborated several times with director Ulysse Di Gregorio and with French choreographer David Drouard. In 2018, at the invitation of Swedish choreographer Johan Inger, Salvador Mateu Andujar was responsible for the costume design of a new creation of Igor Stravinsky's ballet "Petrushka" with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo. He was then invited by Jean-Christophe Maillot, artistic director and choreographer Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, to design the costumes for his creation "Core Meu" (2019).
