The newly created woodwind quintet of the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg presents its “Festliche Bläsermusik” debut. The standard line-up of horn, trombone, tuba and two trumpets have been used by ensembles such as Canadian Brass and Art of Vienna to establish wind music in the affections of a wide audience. Our five philharmonic woodwind specialists introduce themselves and their new unit with a mixed bag of works covering the whole range of styles from classical to jazz.
