Die gebürtige Nürnbergerin Liane Mair war während ihrer Schulzeit Mitglied im Theaterjugendclub des Staatstheaters Nürnberg. Nach dem Abitur absolvierte sie einen Bundesfreiwilligendienst im Kulturladen Villa Leon, wo sie seither als Koordinatorin eines Nachhilfeprojekts arbeitet. Derzeit studiert sie Psychologie an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. In ihrer Freizeit ist sie als Sängerin der Band Leaving June und mit ihrem Projekt Liæn als elektronische Musikerin tätig.
