Stage / Costume

After ten years as a freelance designer for, among others, the Dutch National Ballet, the Nederlands Dans Theater and the Dutch Opera Foundation, Joke Visser officially joined the Nederlands Dans Theater in 1987. In 1989 she was appointed head of costume department of the NDT. Since then, Joke Visser has worked with Jiří Kylián to design and produce the costumes for almost all of his dance productions. In addition to collaborating with other choreographers, Joke Visser manages and organizes the costumes of Kylián's creations worldwide. She created the costumes for the choreography "Falling Angels", which will be performed as part of the three-part ballet evening "Kylián / Goecke / Montero".
