Igor Vieira

Born in Brazil, Igor Vieira received his dance education from 1997 to 2003. With 17 years old he joined Ballet Stagium Company (São Paulo-Brazil). In 2008 he joined Balé Teatro Guaíra (Curitiba-Brazil). In 2009 he was invited to join Balé da Cidade de São Paulo (São Paulo-Brazil) where he worked with some of the greatest choreographers: Alexander Ekman, Cayetano Soto, Ohad Naharin, Andonis Foniadakis, André Mesquita, Itzik Galili, Morena Nascimento, Luiz Fernando Bongiovanni, Lukas Timulak. Furthermore he got the opportunity to choreograph some ballets for the company. In 2019 Igor was invited to join as a ballet master São Paulo Dance Company directed by Inês Bogéa where he got the chance to work amongst great choreographers such as Goyo Montero, Edouard Lock, Shamel Pitts, Giovanni de Palma, Cassi Abranches. Since season 2020/2021 he is a member of Ballet Nuremberg.
