Shawn ThroopTänzer (Dancer)
Born in Canada. Started his dance education in 2004 at Canada’s National Ballet School from which he graduated in 2010. He then received his first contract for the Junior Company of the Bavarian State Ballet where he was taken over in the company in 2012. He danced in productions by Jiřrí Kylián (“Zugvögel”, “27’52”), Nacho Duato (“Na Floresta”, “Mulitplicity Forms of Silence and Emptiness”) and John Neumeier (Puck in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”). Shawn Throop is member of Nuremberg Ballet since season 2016/2017.
